DESCRIPTION:
Adapt given design/graphics to WordPress themes and other templates. Make front-end and back-end modifications to WordPress and other PHP-based CMS’s based on client requirements. Thoroughly browser-test each project. Occasionally communicate with clients, ability to articulate web concepts clearly and simply so anyone can understand. Work fast and meet hard deadlines.

ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) has just announced the advent of generic top-level domains (gLTDs).
Most of you just said “Say whah????”
Basically, it means that if Envoi Design had enough money, we could purchase the domain extension “.design” and our permanent website address could be “envoi.design” – that’s it. Not “envoidesign.com,” just “envoi.design” and you’re at our web site. Pretty cool, except that it could cost hundreds of thousands of dollars!

One of the exciting projects at Envoi these days is a challenging branding exercise. It’s like the normal logo development process – on crack.
One of our associates is working on an idea to feature several related, well-known brands on a single, themed website. The idea is to provide a fun, one-stop shop that harmonizes different branding – not an easy task, as logos and brands are normally developed in order to make a product stand out from the crowd.
It’s no sweat for Envoi’s talented designers.
Envoi Design’s job is very specific – design a plethora of different logo concepts for the simple purpose of helping to visualize the idea. Steve calls it “ideation.” More than likely, NOTHING resembling ANY of these logo concepts will ever see the light of day. Our client will simply use these design spreads as visual aids when developing and pitching their web site plan to colleagues. Envoi’s illustrators will let their creative design juices flow freely and have fun developing quality logo concepts knowing that they will end up as just that – concepts.
In this case, the “final product” is a PowerPoint presentation full of 25+ logo ideas. The client will use this logo spread as inspiration as they develop the look & feel of their new website.
